They're a mean, lean driving machine and
the BC Brawlers, a team of three top drivers, will be
bent on taking the driving title when they take on the
Prairie Posse from Alberta and the Beasts of the East
from Ontario.
Tim Brown, Jim Burke and Bill Davis make
up the Brawlers. John Chappell, Keith Clark and Serge
Masse form the Posse. And Doug Brown, Mike Saftic and
Ron Waples are the Beasts of the East.
Frank Salive, announcer at Woodbine and
Mohawk, also will be on hand for a special guest
appearance.
It's a competition focusing on
individuals with one driver taking the title and the
lion's share of the $5,000 pot, but there's sure to be a
flavor of regional pride in the two-day competition,
which could include up to 10 races (five each day).
Come on out. Cheer on your favorites and
enjoy some spirtied competition.
