AutoTab is…
A convenient way to wager at the racetrack or when you can't
be there in person. With an account you may place
wagers up to the amount of your account balance.
Winnings will be credited to your account immediately
when a wager is a winner.

Accounts may be opened…
By completing an application
either in person or by mail. No minimum deposit
is required to open an account. Proof that you
are at least 19 years of age and a resident of B.C.
is required (i.e. a driver’s license or other suitable
photo I.D.). Accounts may be opened with cash,
Visa or Interac if in person, or with a money order
or bank draft payable to the association you are applying
to if opened by mail. The associations are Orangeville
Raceway Ltd, (Fraser Downs), Pacific Racing Association,
and TBC Teletheatre.
Account
Wagering (AutoTAB) on-course is...
A way to make all your wagers on races through any self-serve
terminal in the province. You can review any of
your wagers or cancel any incorrect wagers directly
on screen. Your Account Card accesses your account,
and your four digit PIN allows you to bet, or withdraw
winnings by voucher. You can deposit money to
your account anytime or anywhere by cashing vouchers
or winning tickets into your account.
WHERE A DISAGREEMENT ARISES WITH RESPECT TO THE CORRECTNESS
OF A BET, THE RECORDED BET TRANSACTION DATA RESTATED
BACK TO THE AutoTAB ACCOUNT HOLDER BY THE AUTOMATED
SYSTEM (or operator) AND AS ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE TELEPHONE
ACCOUNT HOLDER AS CORRECT SHALL BE CONSIDERED THE
BET.
Claims of an incorrect bet placement or requests for
bet cancellation must be made by phoning the AutoTAB
supervisor at 718-6782 or for long distance customers
at 1-888-735-8844 during AutoTAB hours.
AutoTAB
Deposits and Withdrawals
A deposit to an account can be made by the account holder.
Withdrawals can be made by the account holder or his
legal representative. Deposits may be made either
in person at the track, or by Visa on an automated system
during AutoTAB hours. Alternatively a deposit
may be sent by mail as long as the funds are in the
form of a money order or bank draft payable to the association.
Withdrawals may be made either in person during AutoTAB
hours or by mail. Accounts may be closed in the
same manner.
Written
Statements
Written statements of accounts will only be provided
upon request and will cover a maximum of 21 days preceding
the request. The association is not required to
provide a statement more than one every 21 days.
Claims…
By an account holder that the written statement is incorrect
must be made within 14 days of statement date.
Bet
Cancellations…
Are allowed under the regulations of the Canadian Pari-Mutuel
Agency(CPMA). Please read the current regulations
in the official programs or in the areas where information
is posted within the racetracks. Cancellations
can only take place in accordance with the regulations
currently in force. (The association reserves
the right to close the account of any account holder
for any reason by returning the account balance and
a closing statement.)

May be made in person at the racetracks where available

Visa cards must be registered in person at the racetracks
before they can be used on the automated system.
