Public Hearing - Tuesday, December 16th
Come out and show your support
Make sure you show your support for the proposed
redevelopment of Fraser Downs this upcoming Tuesday, December
16th, by attending the Public Hearing at Surrey City Hall.
The Public Hearing begins at 6:30 pm but make sure that you
are early so you will have a seat. If you would like to join
us on the buses that we have chartered to transport supporters
to City Hall, please sign up at the Welcome Centre or the
B.C.S.A. office. The buses will leave Fraser Downs at 5:45 pm
sharp.
Come out and show your support and help make the proposed
future a reality.

Imagine spending a weekend at Santa Anita watching the top
three-year-olds in North America compete on the road to
the Triple Crown.
The second edition of the California Dreamin'
Handicapping Contest begins Saturday, December 27 and runs
for ten consecutive weeks until February 28, 2004.
Each week, contestants will be asked to handicap three
races of the six designated CDHC races. For each of your
three horses selected, a mythical $20 Win-Place-Show wager
will be placed. At the end of each contest day, the
contestant with the most mythical dollars will be crowned
that day's winner and receive $250 and a spot in the
finals.
On March 6, the ten weekly winners will compete
head-to-head in the Homestretch and handicap all six
races. The contestant with the most mythical money at the
end of the day will win a trip for two to see the Santa
Anita Derby on April 3, 2004 in Southern California.
Entries for each contest day will be made available at
the opening of business on each contest Saturday. All
entries must be in before the start of the second live
race on the Santa Anita card.

Harness Pool
The annual KENO Harness Pool begins on January 1,
2004 and it's fun and easy to play. Best of all, it's
free to enter.
Entry sheets and pool rules will be made available on
Friday, December 19th at participating locations -- Fraser
Downs, Sandown Park, Hastings and TBC Centres.
The top 40 players, including ties, will share in the
$10,000 prize pot. The game is just like a sports pool
in which contestants pick a team of horses and earn points
based on their performance.
All contestants must be a Horseplayer Interactive member to
participate. So join HPI and test your handicapping
abilities against the best cappers in the province.

to Fraser Downs or Sandown Park on January 1, 2004 and
you’ll get one Keno Mystery Voucher. You can redeem your
coupon from opening to closing on January 1, 2004. The
Keno Mystery Voucher table will be located in the main
lobby of Fraser Downs and will be in operation until the
end of live racing. Once racing is completed, take
your coupon to the Welcome Centre staff. At Sandown Park,
redeem your coupon at the Information Window.
Only one newsletter per address is
mailed, so if you and a person you live with are both
newsletter subscribers, only one of you will receive a
newsletter. If you don’t receive one, then come to Fraser
Downs on New Year's Day, show staff valid ID and they’ll
confirm that you are on the newsletter list. And, voila,
